We are currently hiring divers for the 2023 season to work

in the Worcester, MA area.  

 

All SCUBA DIVER applicants must be Open Water certified and provide valid Certification Cards from a recognized certifying agency.

REQUIRED FOR SCUBA DIVERS: 

All potential candidates must provide their own wetsuit, mask, snorkel, fins, gloves, and dive boots.

(Regulators, weights, and BCDs are provided. 

6-8 mil hooded suits are recommended for the water temperatures)

All potential candidates must have extensive dive experience, with at least 50 dives logged. Dive logs must be available for review if candidates are invited for an interview.

REQUIRED FOR BOAT TENDERS:

All potential candidates must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs, be able to walk, stand, squat, and climb at any time during an 8 hour shift, and be willing to work in a variety of weather conditions with the proper attire.  

 

PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED: 

All potential candidates will be expected to do boat handling. A State Boater Safety Course/License is preferred but not required at the time of hiring.

 

~Rate of pay will be based on experience~

Paid training for DASH operations will be provided in the Spring before the start of the season. Candidates who are hired will be given a mandatory safety orientation in boat and deck work, surface supplied air, and general water and work safety.

Candidates who are hired will receive invasive Eurasian Watermilfoil plant identification, removal, and disposal training.
